Lake Ontario Fishing Charters

Captain Bill and Barbara Van Wormer have been life long residents of Oswego County who have maintained a residence within 5 miles of the Lake Ontario shore line. They have been married since 1968 and have raised 3 children and and are now enjoying 7 grandchildren. Captain Bill was licensed by the Coast Guard and started a part time charter business as the Lucky Dutchman in 1986. To better serve their anglers in 1990, Captain Bill with his wife Barbara built and opened the Feeder Creek Lodge. They felt that by offering lodging with the fishing as a package they could insure that their customers would have a quality and affordable excursion. In 1995 they purchased a 28 ft. Baha Sport fisherman which became the Lucky Dutchman II, and in 1996 they committed to a full time business. Capt. Bill has always preferred to run his charter trips without a mate as this allows his anglers a much more involved and enjoyable fishing experience.
Charter Packages We offer several different charter packages to suit your needs. You can choose a package that includes only the fishing charter or you can include lodging in your package. We can also custom design a charter for your special needs. Multiple boat charters are also available if you have a large group.
Boat and Lodging Charter Half Day Charter: Stay in our Lodge for one night. Leave the Dock the next day at daylight and and return to the dock at noon. Price: $115.00 per person (based on 4 people) Full Day Charter: Stay in our Lodge for one night. Leave the Dock the next day at daylight and and return to the dock at 3:00 p.m. Price: $140.00 per person (based on 4 people) Multiple Day Charter: Arrive at the Lodge at noon on the first day. Fish from 2:00 p.m. and return to the dock at sundown. Stay in our Lodge for one night. Leave the Dock the next day at daylight and and return to the dock at noon. Price: $195.00 per person (based on 4 people) Lodging: Rooms are $30 per night per person plus tax. We provide lodging at the Feeder Creek Lodge. Feeder Creek Lodge is designed with a home-away-from-home atmosphere. We provide clean and comfortable accommodations with lots of warm and friendly hospitality. Our Continental Breakfast consists of fresh donuts or muffins, coffee, juice and milk.	Boat Charter Only Half Day Charter: Leave the Dock at daylight and return to the dock at noon.
